I’m Drew, I’m 17 years old,

and

I have a passion for photography.

Growing up in a small town in southeast Michigan, I have spent my childhood surrounded by lush, pristine forests. Ever since I was a little kid, my friends and I would explore these woods together, observing the natural beauty of our amazing planet. With time, I began to take notice of the sophisticated interconnectivity between everything in nature. It reminded me that we are part of this ecosystem too, and though we might not realize it, our actions effect the way that it functions. This allowed me to realize the importance of putting our differences aside and understand that we are not only all humans, but that we are a vital part of nature as well. "Outside" isn't just for animals; it's for us too.

It was because of this that I decided I wanted to capture nature's beauty and share it with the world with hopes to unite all of us together as humans and help us remember that we are just one small part of an intricate ecosystem. To accomplish this, I wanted to tell its story using the best medium I knew: photographs. Each one different than the last, reflecting the everlasting uniqueness of our planet. With this goal in mind, I began saving money to buy a camera in the first step of my endeavor. In early 2020, I purchased my first real camera. Later that year, I bought a drone to capture the world from a more unique point of view. Those were two of the best purchases I've ever made. Ever since then I've been meticulously refining my craft, finding new ways to capture the endless charm of nature. It's been an amazing journey so far, and this is only the beginning. Thank you for supporting me on this adventure.
